According to the purpose for which the obtained data is processed, the following types of cookies are distinguished:

  • Technical cookies: Allow the user to navigate through a website, platform, or application and use the different options or services available, such as controlling traffic and data communication, identifying the session, accessing restricted access parts, remembering the items that make up an order, carrying out the process of purchasing an order, making a request for registration or participation in an event, using security elements during navigation, storing content for the dissemination of videos or sound, or sharing content through social networks.
  • Personalization cookies: Allow the user to access the service with certain general pre-defined features based on criteria on the user’s terminal, such as language, type of browser through which the user accesses the service, regional configuration from where the user accesses the service, etc.
  • Analytics cookies: Allow the controller to track and analyze the behavior of users of the linked websites. The information collected by this type of cookies is used to measure the activity of websites, applications, or platforms and to create navigation profiles of users of these sites, applications, and platforms, in order to make improvements based on the analysis of user usage data.
  • Advertising cookies: Allow for the most efficient management of advertising spaces.
  • Behavioral advertising cookies: Store information on the behavior of users obtained through continuous observation of their browsing habits, allowing the development of a specific profile to display advertising based on it.
  • External social network cookies: Used to enable visitors to interact with the content of different social platforms (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) and are generated only for users of these social networks. The conditions of use of these cookies and the information collected are regulated by the privacy policy of the corresponding social platform.
